When Elmstar dies (pretty soon), I'll be making one of his children to be my ThunderClan cat. As I started fleshing out the character in my mind, I ended up sort of doing the same for his siblings... and decided to go ahead and throw what I came up with here, gambling on the slim chance that someone might want to adopt one or the other. I don't mind which one of these cats I end up with, though I do want one of them. I like the idea of playing any of them, even the kitten. xD So when Elmstar dies, I'll just pick out of the ones that are left (if any of them even get adopted, lol). The children are about forty moons, and the kitten can be anything less than six.
- Lizardstripe looks the most like Elmstar in appearance, though his fur is lighter and splashed with a bit of Leafcloud's paler colors (bits of ginger and white). He also possesses Elmstar's uncanny intelligence as well as a certain... darker quality. Where they most differ is in their moral principles: with Elmstar, everything was done for the good ThunderClan. Lizardstripe is guided more by his own emotions and ambitions. Elmstar acted all in the name of ThunderClan, but Lizardstripe is not bound by such devotion. He's loyal, of course, but that has not stopped him from taking a loner as mate and siring half-blooded kittens. He doesn't hide or deny himself emotions. And he can be a bit more playful and mischievous than his father (though often in a way that Elmstar would consider shameful). Solid, knows what needs to be done, a really strong character — but not completely immune to ambition and without his father's moral compass. He would be more-liked than Elmstar ever was, which is ironic, because he wouldn't be as nearly and utterly devoted. {Exiled by Elmstar, but when he learns Elmstar is dead, he'll come back. Tansy, the out-of-clan mate that he was banished for, died.}
- Kestrelflight's make-up is a fortunate compromise between Elmstar and Leafcloud. Where his father was painfully-thin and slender, his build (luckily) possesses a significant amount of his mother's influence — thicker with more muscle than Elmstar, capable of more strength and power. A wholly-good tom who could be nothing but genuine. A perfect father type and a better warrior than a leader could ever ask for. But, when it boils down to it, K-Flight could be little more than a warrior. And truly, he is content and comfortable with that. He's a cat who follows loyally and faithfully, but isn't entirely capable of leading. Though he would be a good and kind leader, he's simply not made for the role. His brother, Lizardstripe, has always been more "that material".
- Tinycrow has her father's build and her mother's colors. She is as gentle and caring as Leafcloud but, unlike both of her parents, she is an extrovert and open. She has the personality of a medicine cat, but not the focus or mindset to be one. She started out as a medicine cat apprentice, but soon enough discovered that she wasn't suited for the job. She doesn't regret becoming a warrior now — a medicine cat life would have been too quiet and not exciting enough for her. Not to mention, she's just recently had a kitten and could never imagine a life without the feeling of being a mother. She's a natural-born nurturer and loves her son to death.
- Tanglekit is Tinycrow's son. The only kitten that was born alive. He looks like a reincarnation of Elmstar — the same eyes, the same fur, and a promise of the same build.
- Mottledbug is the oddball of the litter when it comes to appearances. It's almost as if there is nothing of Elmstar in his physical make-up — he has the thicker, solid, and more muscular build of Leafcloud. He's much larger than his siblings and the most laid-back. Unlike his two brothers, Mottledbug possesses very little ambition. He's a "floating on the breeze" type of tom. Kestrelflight and Lizardstripe were both contenders for deputies, where Mottledbug wouldn't ever desire the position. He's content with hunting and fighting for ThunderClan, but having the responsibility of the entire clan on his shoulders is not something he would ever want. He can't imagine anyone ever wanting it, and has never truly understood his brothers. He gets along very well with Tinycrow, however, and is overly-protective of her and her son.
