Name: StealthStar
Reason for name:
Stealth- Due to his very fluffy, whte fur and the snow in his environment, he is able to hide much better then most in his clan (more in history), earned when he developed his fighting style
Star- All leaders must have the name
Gender: Male
Age: 38 moons
Position: Leader
Clan: Skyclan
Breakdown of abilities and weaknesses:
- Speed: 4/5
- Stamina: 3/5
- Physical Strength: 4/5
- Mental Strength: 2/5
Pros:
Physical strength: Stealthstar is very powerful and able to throw his weight around (seeing as he has a lot of it). He can knock into a tree and cause it to shake (nothing with too large of a diameter though. A young oak or maple tree the diameter of a water bottle would be about his limit, if he got a very good running start).
Combination of speed and strength: Stealthstar, having perfected his fighting technique over time, has gained a rare combination of speed and strength, dispite being so heavy.
Loyalty: He will never, under almost any circumstance, abandon or intentionally harm another member of his clan.
Cons:
Mental instability: While he's rather good at hiding it, Stealthstar is always effected by his need to feel dominant and feel that everyone loves him in some form does effect him severely. He often has some sort of breakdown away from the eyes of the clans.
Inability to trust: While he is loyal, he doesn't necessarily trust everyone to watch his back. He doesn't like getting help from others because he thinks they'll betray him.
Too lighthearted: He very rarely seems to take things seriously, and that can cause cats to hate him.
Appearance: Stealthstar is pretty fluffy, but he is also very fat, meaning that he seldom gets cold, and can warm others up nicely. His paws are large and covered with fur, making him able to stay above the snow. His eyes are a bright blue and usually have a very caring, but playful glint to them. The only parts of his body that are a darker color are around his ears, head, and overly fluffy tail. He has a very hard spot on his head that is tough enough to slam into trees and shake them.
Severity and Breakdown of Adaptations: Type 3 (8 total adaptations)
- Double jointed in almost every section of his body
- two inch layer of fluffy
- double coated and very thick fur,
- able to withstand high/low pressure
- fluffy, large feet to help him stay above the snow (much like a snow hare),
- Thick Layer of fat
- Shorter appendages and broader
- "Horns" like a musk ox (Its more like a very thick area on the top of his head that is still covered with fur. there's a bit of a curved horn visible, but not much)
Personality:
Flirty/loving- Stealthstar loves the ladies. He's a bit more confident now that he's the leader and has porved his worth in the clan, and freely flirts with the females (Sometimes the males for fun). If there's a cat that needs loving of any type, he's there in a flash.
Touchy- Stealthstar is touchy, but in a good way. He doesn't inappropriately toouch, just a slight flick on the nose by his tail, perhaps a slight rub as he passes. Small thaigns that throw others off guard. He probably has a lot of children he doesn't even know of.
Lighthearted- Stealthstar is pretty lighthearted compared to a lot of other cats. He doesn't stress easily and carries himself witha tiny bounce in his step as if he doesn't have a care in the world.
Empathetic- He really does feel other's pain; he understands what it feels like to feel hopeless and that it seems that no one else is listening and that life can just suck sometimes when you feel like you can't do anything right. he'll take anyone under his wing when they feel that way, occasionally even an outsider.
Forgetful and easily distracted- He's forgetful...VERY forgetful. He can have his heart set to something one minute, then notice something shiny on the other side of the camp and that important, life changing event is just unimportant anymore and he will forget all about it.
Uncaring for outsiders- The only thing he cares for is his clan, and its because he feels obligated to care for them all since he's the leader. Anything else outside of the clan could rot for all he cares.
Seperation anxiety- He hates being separated from anyone for long periods of time. He's alright for a few hours, but when someone is gone for more then a day, he starts becoming unwound and anxious. When he sees them again though, he dumps all of his love on them. ALL OF IT.
Superiorty complex: Due to having trauma as a youngster with being called a loser and uselss, he has no problem showing off that they were all wrong, and he is better then all of them. He dosn't do it obnoxiously though, and often just hints at it. If someone tells him he's unfit to be leader, he'll flip his shit.
Specific moral Values: Someone has to be there to brighten up someone's day in hard times, and that it's the leader's job to keep his clan happy even at the expense of his own happiness and health.
Relationships:
Gorsehawk: He considers him his best friend, and nearly like a son.
History:
As a youngster, Stealthstar was a little clumsy. In fact, he was more then clumsy. He was just useless with how uncoordinated. while most of his lack of coordination was the fact that his mother dropped him on his head when he was just a tot. He nearly broke it open at the angle at which he was dropped, but his 'horns' were thick enough to sustain most of the major damage and he was left with little more then a bruise and some unknown brain damage that would extend further then anyone could imagine. It took him a month longer then normal for his balance to become enough that he could walk, and until his legs became sturdy enough to hold him at seven moons, his apprentice ceremony was delayed. For this, he was named Bumblepaw.
When he became an apprentice, he got an army officer for a mentor. This cat would drag him in the middle of the snow and show him how to find a hare and told him not come back until he did. Needless to say, Bumblepaw became very resistant to cold. He was unable to completely master his running skills due to his uncoordinated nature. He would be alright for just a bit, then he would start to stumble and fall. His mentor would harp on him until he could run a straight line, which was impossible, and Bumblepaw was often returning back to camp being carried by his mentor because his legs would give out. He wouldn't become a warrior until he was 18 moons and giventhe suffix -step.
When he was a warrior, no one's opinions of him changed. They all thought he was a useless cat, and when he went on Border patrol, even cats from other clans thought he was a useless cat. That's when his true hostilities towards outsiders came along, and be began to hate everything other then his own, who he also resented, but hid it under his silly personality.
He was given his apprentice, Gorsepaw, later renamed Gorsehawk. The youngster wasn't pleased that he was assigned to Bumblestep, but little Bumble was more then enthused and happy to show his clan that he was good enough to deserve his apprentice. He was hoping that the apprentice would learn that he wasn't useless.
Sadly, that's didn't work out well. He was still pretty useless. It didn't last as long as everyone predicted though.
Bumblestep actually learned his signature fighting style by watcing an odd little kit run around and pop its upper half into the snow after seeing a fox for the first time. He seemd a little creepy, and soon the mother took the kit back to the nursery, but Bumble had seen enough. He left camp when he wasn't tending to his duties or his apprentice and practiced. He soon learned that his nearly white appearance gave him an advantage in hiding. He practiced outside of camp and away from others, not that they payed much attention to him anyway.
His need to feel domniant grew once he started to realize how everyone looked at him like he was some sort of fool or disappointment. He let his rage fester for a few days, and after, he finally decided to release his rage in a battle against the leader, who he up and challenged, much to everyone's surprise. It wasn't because he hated his leader (he was immensenly loyal to him), he just figured that if he could beat the leader, his honor level would be increased tremendously. The leader at the time accepted, and they began their fight. It was honorable, and they both agreed not to draw their claws on each other to avoid an unwanted death, and they had to rely on brute strenght to win.
As expected, Bumblestep lost, but he displayed an array of skills no one had ever seen before. He was able to catch the leader off guard and throw him on his back and nearly strike him down, but the older, more experienced cat managed to 'kill' him. Bumble walked away humiliated, but after being awarded the deputy position and his new name "Stealthstep' later, he had a newfound confidence. He still wasn't liked, but after keeping up his honor and proving himself constantly, they began to accept himi more and more.
Leadership was passed onto him, and soon after his apprentice, now a warrior by the name of Gorsehawk, had his own pupil, and Stealthstep, not Stealthstar made him the next deputy.
