Aspenkit padded out onto the flat area of the tree tops. She looked around there weren't too many cats up and about at the moment the Dawn Patrol probably hadn't left yet which meant she was right on time for her daily routine. She loved to get up before the Dawn Patrol so she could watch the sun rise slowly over the tree tops. She stretched her thin muscles stretched and coiled as she stretched and relaxed each of her legs several times before she let her small jaws gape open in a yawn her tiny needle sharp teeth glinted in the pale stream of sunlight the basked over the tree tops. She padded over the spot where she usually sat underneath a small yet thickly leafed brach that curved over the a patch of the tree top a perfect spot to sit in the heat of the day.
She groomed her thick spiky fur as she sat and watched the sun ever so slowly crawl over the tops of the trees that to her never seemed to end not matter how high she went in the tree. She knew the trees had to end some where because the other clans the clans didn't all live in the same territory there wasn't enough room for them to do that.

Warrior Flowerfur of ThunderClanA serpent lights the ancient sky A threat of tainted stars Evil stirs and in its wake The souls of mortals swayWithout a doubt, the time of day that Flowerfur loved the most was the moment the sun crossed the horizon, lighting the sky in a blaze of fire. While she usually witnessed this during the other half of the day, when day turned to dusk, the she-cat had been tossing and turning through the night, her mind filled with anxiety. Tired of being tired, Flowerfur had decided to go out on a run, perhaps tire herself out like an apprentice after the first day of training.
The she-cat had put a halt in her plans, however, when she caught Aspenkit's scent in the air. Flowerfur sighed and followed it to the spiky-furred kit, landing silently next to her. Flowerfur sat down, her gaze landing on the sun. The point of her conversation would come after pleasantries. After all, if you just outright tell a kit or apprentice that they can't or shouldn't do something, they will go out of their way to defy you or argue until their tongues are sore.
"Beautiful, isn't it? The sky. Most aren't early enough to catch the sun climbing the horizon, and are too busy to notice it fading on the other side. It's a shame, really." Flowerfur whispered just above earshot, her voice soft and gentle so as not to pierce the peaceful atmosphere. [/font]

Aspenkit flicked one of her fluffy and slightly spiky furred ear towards the sound of approaching paw steps she flicked her gaze for a moment to nod in greeting to Flowerfur. She knew the warrior would like the few others who had done so before tell her in some way that it was not wise to be up at the hour alone. She mewed quietly to the warrior after they had finished speaking, "very much so and not so much a shame per say but a pity" she gave the warrior a small purr she'd heard one of the elders say that once about something she couldn't quite remember what she knew it was either about apprentices or kits either way it was no use trying to remember something she'd obviously forgotten.
She turned her gaze back out towards the slow crawl of sun as it crept ever so slowly over the tops of the horizon. She wondered what was out there beyond the clans territories what sort of sights and sounds there were she had a burning desire to go and explore the hidden and wild lands beyond the clans territories when she was old enough but she quite liked the idea of hunting and fighting along side others fighting to protect each other to keep their kin safe. She stretched her forepaws forward to loosen out the muscles which were getting tight up being coiled up from her sitting on the slightly cold wood.

OOC: I am SO SORRY I took this long to reply. I've been dealing with RL stuff and I just sort of took a break and I am so sorry.Warrior Flowerfur of ThunderClanSorrow reigns Over fields of red Spirits pace Through the shadows cast by their graves"Very much so, and not a shame, per say, but a pity." Flowerfur was still slightly surprised at the kit's wide vocabulary, but she was still glad to have someone to talk to. The ThunderClan warrior took a sideways glance at the kit, and caught a glazed look on her face.
Flowerfur recognized that look--Aspenkit was thinking of adventure, of greater pursuits. A mixture of ambition and fearlessness was a common trait among kits and apprentices, but it was still dangerous. While courage was an admirable trait, one needed the wisdom to know when to be courageous and when to restrain oneself.
"A pity indeed," Flowerfur commented off-handedly, turning her gaze back to the sunrise. "You know, kits aren't supposed to leave camp. What would happen if an owl swept down and took you away?"
