I finally have my desktop set up and functioning at my new place. So I can make my own thread now instead of leeching off of Cobalt's. (*quick, quiet dancing*) But, honestly, I probably won't be around, even with my computer. I'm just not feeling it anymore guys, I'm really not. There's no joy here for me anymore. I lost it, and I can't find it in myself to linger and float about in hopes of it coming back. I adore this place and the members. I've had boatloads of fun in the past (almost) five years. And I've met some truly, genuinely amazing and admirable people along the way. Instead of just 'up-and-poofing' without any explanation, I thought I'd leave a small little notice. FourClans has been more home to me than anything else I can think of, but it's time for me to admit that it doesn't feel like that anymore. I will always love this place and the members, even those from v1 who have themselves already retired.
My PoPs are (obviously) surrendered. Elmstar was going to die very soon anyway. Have him killed in RiverClan turmoil in order to spur that plot forward maybe (that'd be interesting). Or have Flowerfur fulfill her promise like we spoke of. I'd prefer it if neither Elm or Little were put up for adoption or anything of that like — out of all my cat characters in the past five years, they are the two I've loved the most and I would like them to retire with me. As for Daisypaw and Frosttalon... I don't mind what happens to them. They can be adopted, killed off, or just forgotten about. I apologize for leaving unfinished threads and plots in the dust. I really enjoyed every moment of squee-filled plotting and idea-hashing. I'll move my biographies to the Graveyard myself and clean them up from the Allegiances, so as to not leave extra work for Blizzy. I ask that you don't delete my bios or threads, as I like to give things a nostalgic read from time to time. And, very likely, I'll recycle some profile bits. Feel free to delete my member account though, after I clean up my mess and such.
And also, feel free to contact me by e-mail if you ever need to for whatever reason. And — lastly — "stay gold, FourClans." Thank you, both members of old and members of new, for everything you have given and shown me. Wishing well and for endless, pleasant prosperity in your lives to come. May StarClan light your path, always.
