FUR: blue-gray
BASIC
Her fur is blue like a daytime storm, and well kept. Her persistant grooming keeps it in shimmering condition, though often it is at least mildly ragged due to the minimal exposure to the sun Shadowclan gets. Her blue-green eyes are a rodent-like in appearance, as is her long, thin face. Long, scooped claws protrude from each of her paws, longer in the front than the back. They do not retract, giving her the rather fearsome appearance of a type three Shadowclanner. Her tail is long and thin, with shorter hair than the rest of her body, almost like a mouse's. She has minimal tabby marking on her pelt, and some simple white markings around her face.SIGNIFICANT MARKINGS
Just above the base of her tail, her tabby markings swirl into an almost perfect spiral. Also, in the iris of her left eye. there's a significant red spot caused by bleeding that never went away. Her eyes are each lines with dark black, with white around that fading into the gray of the rest of her pelt.Personality

IMPRESSIONS
As leader, Cinderstar knows it is her duty to appear as strong leader for the sake of her clan. She loves her kin dearly and is determined to be a worthy leader. She is still a new leader, though, and isn't afraid to say she's still learning. Cinderstar looks to elders and experienced warriors when she needs advice, and to Starclan when she needs guidance. To other clans she's rather off-puttingly harsh and unnerving. Some apprentices even rumor that she killed Shadowclan's previous leader to get the position she now holds.TRUE SELF
Cinderstar always feels surprisingly unsure. Though she knows she must pretend to not feel this way, she's very nervous about making the wrong decisions for her clan. Part of her never actually expected to become clan leader, even when she was deputy. Even so, Cinderstar is determined and hard-working. She yearns to strengthen Shadowclan.Life

PARENTAGE
Palestripe and Falconwing were rather casual partners. Most of the clan knew who the father of Falconwing's kits were, but the kits themselves never did. They were born at dusk in the wintertime, outside of camp. Falconwing had gone for a walk and was on her way back to the camp when she gave birth to four, luckily healthy (though admittedly very cold).KITHOOD
Knowing that she couldn't leave her kits in the cold, Falconwing moved them to the camp almost immediately. However, unable to move fast enough, she lost the smallest kit, who she named Dusk-kit so that he would not be nameless among Starclan. The other three kits soon recovered from the chills they got during the short journey, and began to grow into healthy, strong kits. They were named Cinderkit, Sootkit, Thornkit and Brightkit. They were playful and got into just about as much trouble as most other kits. As they were nearing their apprentice ceremonies, Cinderkit managed to get a bad gash in her hind leg, however, which meant she spent a whole extra moon in the nursery than her siblings.APPRENTICESHIP
Finally Cinderkit was named Cinderpaw and was able to start her training. Thistleheart was her first mentor. He was a strong, well-rounded senior warrior who instantly launched Cinderpaw's training into gear to help her catch up with her siblings. Everything seemed to be going well enough, though Cinderpaw continued to trail behind her siblings because of her late start. When she was ten moons old, Thistleheart had some sort of attack and ended up in the medicine cat's den, leaving her training at a screeching halt. Cinderpaw did what she could to help the medicine cat with her mentor, but there was nothing they could do. Thistleheart passed to Starclan.
Waspstar himself stepped forward as Cinderpaw's new mentor. Much of her time was spent training with her siblings, but Waspstar would do his best to find the time to take Cinderpaw out (just the two of them) and train hard.
In their eleventh moon, Cinderpaw and Sootpaw manage to get in some serious trouble when they found the scent of a fox in Shadowclan territory. They decided to follow the scent to see what they could find out, and ended up stumbling upon a full-grown dogfox that had probably been just passing through. They seemed to be facing a losing challenge, when Thornpaw leaped to the rescue. He managed scare off the fox, but all three were injured and had to spend a few days in the medicine cat's den.
Thornpaw was named Thornbush upon his release from the medicine cat's den. Cinderpaw and Sootpaw were upset they didn't receive their warrior names as well, but Waspstar simply told Cinderpaw she wasn't ready. He grew ill, and it felt like her training was coming to a halt again. A young warrior by the name of Whitepatch stepped up to help Cinderpaw train.
In their twelfth moon, Cinderpaw, Sootpaw and Brightpaw were given their final assessment. All three proved themselves ready to become warriors, but while they were performing their assessment, Waspstar lost his final life, delaying their warrior Ceremony.
Lostheart, the deputy then, was made Loststar. A half moon later (the three apprentices were now thirteen moons), Loststar preformed the long-awaited warrior ceremony. Cinderpaw was named Cinderstorm, Sootpaw was named Sootstep and Brightpaw was named Brightstripe.
WARRIORHOOD
The first few moons of their warriorhood went uneventfully. Thornbush was somewhat distanced from his siblings, particularly Cinderstorm and Sootpaw who really seemed to resent him becoming a warrior earlier than them. However, when their mother grew ill, just after finding out she was carrying kits, the family began to grow close again. When Cinderstorm was twenty moons old, her mother gave birth to two kits, Nightkit and Stormkit. She died quickly afterwords.A surget took in Nightkit and Stormkit, and Brightstripe immediately stepped up to help care for both the surget and the kits. Cinderstorm found that she felt uncomfortable around the kits that she felt caused her mother's death, and instead found herself spending much time in the elder's den with Tornclaw (her mother's former mentor).
At twenty five moons, Brightstripe died protecting their new youngest sibling. The camp was raided by Rapidclan for some ridiculous accusation that Shadowclan had tried to steal territory. Loststar also lost his first life in the same battle. Only a moon later, Loststar lost a second life because of an infection from a particularly bad wound he had sustained in the battle.
Cinderstorm was made the mentor of Nightpaw when her mother's last litter was old enough to become apprentices. She instantly looked to Tornclaw for guidance, lacking her own former mentor to help her. Sootstep was made the mentor of Stormpaw.
Two moons later, Nightpaw and Stormpaw managed to find themselves in trouble with a fox. Thornbush was there to save them, but was badly injured.
Nightpaw and Cinderstorm were instantly at odds. Cinderstorm was outraged that her apprentice managed to get herself into such a bad spot, and drag her brother in as well. She felt sick at the thought she'd almost let her mother's last kits get killed, and thanked Starclan for Thornbush. Thornbush, however, was unable to recover from this fight and had to be admitted into the elder's den a moon afterwords.
After a particularly bad fight with her apprentice, Cinderstorm ran off, unable to handle everything she felt was being thrown at her. Tornclaw came looking for her, but never found her. He slipped and fell into a pit that he'd been unable to see. His old body was unable to handle the fall and he died. Nightpaw and Cinderstorm both blamed themselves for his death.
At thirty moons, Cinderstorm officially became the mate of Whitepatch, who'd she'd grown quite friendly with since he helped her train as an apprentice. She also finally made her peace with Nightpaw. Thornbush's old wound reopened while he was out getting exercise (pushing himself to hard most certainly) and his infection returned.
At thirty one moons old, Thornbush died in his sleep the same day Cinderstorm discovered she was pregnant. She kept quiet for a while out of respect for her brother's death, and reflected on the way her brother had saved her and Sootstep many moons ago. And then Nightpaw and Stormpaw the same way. She could only hope he would continue to watch over their family from Starclan.
A moon later, Nightpaw fell ill just before her warrior ceremony. Stormpaw was named Stormwind.
Whitepatch fell ill as well, and it became clear sickness was sweeping through the camp. Cinderstorm spent much of her time in the medicine cat den with her apprentice and mate. The medicine cat, Smalltail, was there to support her, but Cinderstorm felt very alone. Whitepatch died, but Nightpaw was just able to pull through.
The next moon, Nightpaw was named Nightbird in a much belated warrior ceremony. Cinderstorm felt bitter sweet about the occasion.
At thirty four moons, Cinderstorm gave birth to a single kit, who she named Whitekit after her father.
Cinderstorm herself grew ill at thirty eight moons, and was separated from her kit for a half moon. Smalltail often scolded her and insisted that her anxiety made her take much longer to heal. He said that if she fretted over her kit more, she'd die of anxiety.
Whitekit was finally made Whitepaw, and the same moon, Smalltail died. Cinderstorm was beginning to wonder if she was cursed. It seemed every time something good happened in her life, something terrible happened.
Cinderstrom was now fourty five moons, Loststar was down to two lives, when the former deputy, Specklefur, died in an accident. Cinderstorm was made the next deputy.
DEPUTYSHIP
Cinderstorm turned to her living family for support. Nightbird was shockingly the most vocally supportive. So Cinderstorm's experience as deputy began smoothly for the most part, only facing small challenges that are common to every day life in the clans. Two moons in, her daughter Whitepaw was named Whitecrow after a phenomenal assessment. That night all the clan was talking about how wonderful the Deputy's daughter would be as a warrior.Loststar soon looses another life to illness, and cannot seem to fully recover. Cinderstorm stepped up tot the task, helping her leader by taking on many of his duties.;
A moon later, Loststar attended his last gathering, despite his illness that made it almost impossible for him to walk. The whole night, Cinderstorm stood by his side, there for him to lean on. She even sat with him among the leaders at the gathering, and though she got some nasty looks, nobody spoke against it. That night, Loststar died.
LEADERSHIP
Cinderstar is just beginning as Shadowclan's leader, but she is eager to do her best to raise Shadowclan above what it has been for the past many moons.OTHER
