Gathering Discussion

Okay, here's my shot at initiative. *beams nervously* The next full moon is on the 19th, so I figure starting FourClan's first gathering on the Saturday following (21st) would be wildly appropriate. As this is a discussion dedicated to the Gathering alone though, speak up if there's a date better suited for everyone. I am 100% game for kicking off with Elmstar, unless another leader would prefer to lead their clan in first. It matters naught to me when my ole boy brings the thunder. *wink* Starting on the 21st would give us over a week to decide what all cats are going and if and/or what major happening might take place (Clouds covering the moon? A squabble during the truce *glances at Cloudfrost* xD? One of the clans doesn't show up? Lightning strikes a tree and it falls in the clearing? :0 Some cats could totally interpret that as an omen about something brewing in ThunderClan? And the cats on the kill list could be the ones who get squished? *shrugs* Just a little idea.)

Now for those going~ Just reply with you characters you would like to roleplay at the Gathering. I automatically put up the PoPs, but I do suppose something could prevent them from attending. Just speak up and let me know who needs to be added (or removed). I imagine NPCs will also be used, so if you'd like some names to use, I've included a lot of NPCs on the Allegiance list (linked here). Just some "fillers" that you're allowed to "name drop" and (reasonably) god-mod with, if that makes any sense.

* Lyfe has posted an absence message. With no roleplayed deputy at the moment to fill in for her, we need to discuss how to go about BloodClan. In her message she said we could find a "temp or co-owner" for Jagged while she's away. Either BloodClan could not show up, which would be interesting (and I imagine it wouldn't be as a surprise to the other clans, seeing as they're not connected to StarClan and not particurly known to follow the rule... does BloodClan even attend the Gatherings?), or we could just sort of... glide through Jagged's speech. BloodClan could go at the end and it could just be a simple "and then Jagged, the new leader of BloodClan spoke." and BAM the gathering disperses. Then the BloodClan cats could still attend and "socialize". Thoughts?

Ha, yeah, Cloudfrost will prooobably start something. I don't mind having Jagged "glided" through, but I think that maybe Stonepaw's death should be mentioned, along with Flowerfur's ascension to Deputy and Quailfoot's retirement. The things that happen in the Clans, like new warriors and elders and deaths tend to pop up, so maybe just have something "Jagged said little, though *such and such* was made clear," with such and such being the events in BloodClan.

Eh. I think that all my cats should go -- none of them have done anything bad *that anyone knows of*, so it makes sense they'd be there.

Everything else seems great, though!

I'd want Tigerfang in there too, maybe he gets killed by said tree? All hell would break loose if it did, Lionstar would totes blame ThunderClan.

Also, maybe there is a small sickness from some bad meat they ate going through BloodClan? Honey could be there with a small group just to show that they are in fact alive but he wouldn't be doing any Leader things. And knowing him he'd totes leave the Clan in their time of need just to do something else xD He comes back and half of them are dead and he's like nbd they were going to die anyways.

I dunno, I'm rambling xD

If we did this tree thing... and we did use some of the "kill-off" cats as those who get squished... perhaps some radical felines like Lionstar, lololololol as a threatening omen from ThunderClan. More cats from ShadowClan die than the rest, so maybe there's fear that they're plotting something against the weakest clan? (And wow, such an inverse on the 'sterotype'. xD) But then RiverClan could bristle their scales fur at ThunderClan. BloodClan could be struggling with an illness. And nobody for sure knows what the lightning strike means... if shady ThunderClan is really up to anything.

Again, just me thinking out loud. Just some ideas. Spit-balling. xD Your kitties have been added.

<sup>Oooo, if there's going to be finger pointing, or should I say claw pointing? El oh el, I can't think at these late hours. Anyways, if there are insults and such going around, Cardinalpaw will literally be sitting on the sidelines fanning the fire to make it worse, because that is something she'd do. Sweetleaf would probably hide behind Redfang.

Anyways, I really do like the idea of BloodClan getting sick, and of the tree! Hemlockpaw would most likely get very, very ill c:</sup>

ooh! this plot sounds great! and like, i was wanting flickerpaw to go to the gathering, maybe? so sweets can introduce her and stuff?
{also plot idea-- oakey, you're getting rid of doveface, right? well what if flicky sees him and is like 'oh no he's hot' but then he gets crushed too and she tries to save him and he dies? i have this whole plan for flicks to mature into a decent meddy and stuff so....}

This sounds verrrry interesting, especially as Miststar's rather wary of Elmstar and ThunderClan in general. I'd like to have Snakeheart attend as well, I think. With any luck this will give me the boost I need to feel like roleplaying again. c:

Your cats are added! c: And I can definitely jive with that idea, Immi. ^__^ I was thinking Doveface, along with other kill-off cats, would just be like NPCs... to be mentioned/used in anyone's post, but if you... maybe... would like me to actually roleplay Doveface at the Gathering, I'd be willing! (Though if they interacted before he died, she'd end up thinking he was a complete jerk, haha.) I could roleplay him dying as she tries to help him. Or not, if you'd rather just NPC him. Up to you!

I wrote up there that it'll start on the 21st, unless someone comes forward saying that a different date will be better or the 21st won't work for them. If no one says that they'd prefer another date then we'll start then. And if SML, Cobalt, Blizzy, Snakey, or Lyfe(?) don't state that they'd perfer to have Stealthstar, Miststar, Lionstar, Stormstar, or Jagged(?) kick off the thread (or if one of them just posts it xD) then I'll go ahead and begin it with my crooked darling Elmstar.
