Alright guys, we're so close to being able to open this site! Let's just take a looksie at what we have left to do! 1. Advertisement. - Snakey is working on a temporary one, and Cobalt has told us she want to design a final one, but we can never have enough advertisement. If you want to design an advertisement (there are tons of sites where you can get free advertisement banners) make sure it has the elements of the site's base (probably include the three or fourspecies we have here.) and post it to be approved before you start advertising~
2. Skin - As much as I love this skin, it doesn't reflect on our darker, more fantasy like theme. We need one that's a little darker, and reflects our theme. If anyone wants to start messing around with it, feel free. I'll give it a try, but I'm not all that good.
3. Format - I'm really OCD about formatting this site so it's as easy to navigate as possible. I really liked the set up for the boards on the old site. The header with all the information was nice, and the members could see the "of the Month" thing (which I would like to bring back. I think it would provide a bit more motivation), the weather, the plot (we don't have one, but we could put clan/pack/human/god assignments there), and so on.
I also liked the condensed boards It gets rather annoying having to scroll down such a long page.
4.Boards - We need boards for dogs and humans/gods. They may not be a pressing need for them right now, but it will make our site look more complete if we at least have something up in their place.
Anyone else want to add to this list? Also, can someone remind me what Windclan's adaptations were? I forgot :'D

We also still need to figure out a name for the human community unless were sticking to Wastelands.
The adaptations were swift as the coursing river, with all the force of a great typhoon, with all the strength of a raging fire and mysterious as the dark side of the moon. [:

Alrighty. I have no suggestions whatsoever for that, so if you'd like to keep it as that, I don't mind. :33
Ohhhh I see what you did there xDD I love mulan. But I still need thsoe traits so I can update the adaptation list.

Now that finals are done for me, I should have more time to actually do stuff. We need a few more adaptations for Thunder, Shadow, and Blood (just maybe 2-3 each), and then I can finally have those sketches up. If everyone's cool with what I've got, I can ink them in no time. I'll try and mess with the skin as well, probably bring back something similar to the old layout. I think having the categories be collapsible would be awesome, but all the codes I've tried have just screwed stuff up so...I'll find a temporary alternative, at least. I have a pretty cool idea if I can get it to work. c:

I honestly have no idea what Winds were. For Shadow I recommended shorter tails, smaller ears and eyes and broad, scoopy claws like moles. And wouldnt their eyessight be bad becausr of living underground or whatevs? I think to think of them like the Falmer from Skyrim, Ill copy+pasta info about them here.
"The Falmer are a race of Mer who have evolved into primitive creatures inhabiting the dark underground and remote areas of Skyrim. Centuries of life underground have caused the Falmer to adapt to their harsh environment. While physically similar to other Mer, the Falmer have changed noticeably. Their skin is a pale grayish tone and they move with a hunched posture. Their most notable feature is their blindness; the Falmer lack eyes. However, their other senses have become extremely sensitive as a result, and unwary adventurers learn quickly that the Falmers' blindness is no handicap in combat."
I like to compare things to other things to get a better understanding and help me make them better. To me, the Shadow cats remind me of the Falmer.

The scoopy like claws are basically how I imagined their claws. Not too dramatic of a scoop like actual moles, but enough to give them a digging edge. Also, the claws might permanantly be out in the type 3 mutations, since it would be weird to have such large claws just slip back into the paws like they were nothing. Type 2 would depend how how dramatic the mutations are, and type 1 could hide them completely.
They're probably also tend to be albino/paler colored, or even hairless cats, since they rarely leave the tunnels after sunrise. A darker cat would be acceptable though.
They're kind of like a mix between bats and moles and various other cave dwelling animals. -----
I believe we agreed on wind to have the feathers? We never got too in depth with it... Their territory is kind of like a canyon, at least in my mind, so having them be almost monkey/bird like would seem like a good start.
-----
Blood are cannibals/vampire-like, and prone to insanity...that's all I remember. Ven made up a lot of the adaptations since she wanted BC.
---
Super sexy skin is super sexy. Maybe a image in the back though? Just a suggestion if you stumble upon a nice picture~

Wind is feathers and anything else that helps run/jump/glide for type 3's. I've got enough for those, I think.
Thunder I've been adding climbing adaptations such as longer, flexible tails, sharp, sort of hooked claws, and that sort of stuff. So if ou ave any ideas for that that would be great.
Shadow I'd think would be darker, to help them hide in the darkness when they go aboveground. Otherwise, I'm liking these ideas.
And Blood...yeah, I need to go look back on the other thread.
Skin was late at night on my iPad, by the way, so images and all that good stuff will be coming later tonight, probably. If I can get this one code to work it'll be epic. c:
