Idea~
What if they're kind of, like... post-apocalyptic Clans? Like, the whole world has changed and they've had to evolve and adapt to their new environments, thus giving a reason why their territories would have to be all extreme and stuff.

That's something I wouldn't mind. Like, what was the apocalypse though? Was it like a nuclear explosion, or was it like, zombies or like the movie 2012?

When I saw apocalypse I instantly thought of Fallout New Vegas and that made me remember robodog. I kinda want robotcats if were going into the future. Theyd all be evil cause they're not fully developed and most don't live long and explode >:] Theyd a ve massive deeps~

I was thinking more along the lines of natural evolution and natural disasters.

Ven.
This is so perfect. I was litarally going to suggest the exact same thing.
But yes. Natural evolution because natural disasters. I am a happy shade of blue.
On Blood and Sky: Sky is good, all good. Blood...maybe has some reason to reform? Tales have been passed down for ages and ages and some cats decide to bring it back, but with more interesting intentions, perhaps?

Alrighty then. I'll start typing/pasting the rules/basis, and put them here for revision and debate when I'm done. It would be cool, if someone gets bored, if we could make a map, since the territories are going to be a bit different.
Are we going to include demons and ghosts and whatnot? I'd really like those, seeing as SML loves supernatural things.
I'm going to put a few suggestions for the clans on the first post, since its all nice and set up already. So take a look at them, and tell me how you feel about what I've put, and whether or not I should change them. We still need an adaptation for Thunder.
So now, for an actual PLOT, now that we have a basis down. Anyone have anything in mind?

Yes, good. I'll try and get to work as well when I find the time. (read: later tonight if I have trouble sleeping again.)
A few suggestions to throw in: Maybe webbed paws for Riverclan as well? For Skyclan, I think it would be awesome if they literally lived in the trees and had extra toes, hooked claws, and longer tails to help them get around. Thunderclan, I have no idea. Ooh, halfclanners would be epic.
Demons would be awesome if we can weave them into a plot. I've got a couple beginnings of ideas, so I'll post them pretty soon.

We should hurry with these adaptations because I am half done my bios now and do not wanna go back to edit them. RC is my Clan therefore I want them to have webbed feet, bits of scales on their bodies under the fur and bigger ribcages and lungs or rudimentary gills (needs to be decided) so they can dive for longer periods of time. Any suggestions/complaints will be welcome and considered.

I propose a compromise; we have both the extreme (say scales and fish parts) and more normal (say, only webbed feet or enlarged lungs) both accepted in the clans so that you have more of a choice. I've already got a couple of designs down I'd like to use and rp with on this site for both sides. Both parties would be happy, and there would be a limit (say, no cats that are completely covered in scales, or have fish heads). We could also start working on bios without worrying about the rules changing too much.
Also, since we all agreed that humans, dogs, and other creatures would be a nice addition, we need to duscuss their territories. Dogs/wolvs generally don't live very close to each other, unless they're in the same pack, so maybe a maximum of two dog packs? And humans live in some wort of destroyed city that has been turned overgrown and into a village?
Lastly, I'd like to be able to have cats with metal parts, such as legs, or tails, or whatever, and possibly genetically modified (Blizzy, this would be the place for all of your cats that you were working on in V1). I just like this idea for some strange reason, and it could create an antagonist for all the species.

Yes, I quite like this. Especially the part metal/genetically modified cats. That would be excellent, and I think It could make for a nice plot. Perhaps this is what humans are doing to rogues they find in the area, and in the process something in their brains is altered? The questoin is, what exactly?

Well, I'm studying parts of the brain right now, so I know that there are specific parts of the it that control specific things, such as hungr thirst and how you think and feel. Maybe they could have learned how to make the cats act the way they want, and they set them out with collars or whatever that could watch their progress?

Good ideas. I think maybe ThunderClan could have adapted to living in the forest and it always thunders and they learned how to survive getting hit by lighting? OR maybe, if lightning hits them, tey become super powerful for like 2 minutes but they get knocked out after it? SOmething like that, I think.

Only thing is that there's very few things that can survive getting hit by lightning too many times, and as unrealistic as feesh cats sound, I think they're a little more believable since there are things with ways of breathing under water (fish and amphibians. Same goes for Shadow and blood (Vampire bats and Mosquitoes live off of blood, along with many other animals, and moles and bugs live underground for most of their lives.)
Another trait of thunderclan is that they're extrememly strong/large compared to other clans, correct? Maybe we can try to think of more on that?
